We like coding, but we don't know much about coding. We're computer science students, but our course was designed to simply prepare us to work in the IT field, so I guess that's why they don't teach us things that are too advanced when it comes to programming.
To be honest, we're not sure if we want to work in this field. We found out that maybe working a job that revolves around helping other people who need something like emotional support would be better, since it would feel more rewarding.
We got interested in forming a community where we can help the people in it in any way we can, as well as encouraging them to support each other. We found out about community centers, that are spaces that are focused on meeting a community's needs, and that sounds really cool actually.
Imagine this: a physical place where you can hang out with people in the same community as you, where you can find some kind of resources, be it information or maybe something like food if you're struggling with buying food, where you can get emotional support by talking to someone about what you're going through... It sounds nice to me.
I hope we can make a difference someday. We want to build a community center for queer people, and I hope we can achieve that goal. The main problem is that it would be very very expensive. Anyway, I guess I'm done yapping, thanks for reading this!
