You know, lately I've been really interested in physical media. I'm talking about CDs and DVDs, books, traditional art (drawings, paintings), manga and other stuff. I guess it's because I'm kinda tired of staring at my phone for hours just scrolling through YouTube, and I wanna have different kinds of devices and physical media so I can have fun while also reducing my screen time.
I got an MP3 player recently and it's very cool! It's pretty limited, I can't even make playlists on it, it literally just plays music and that's it, but I like it. Sure, I guess streaming is more convenient, but like it's so cool to have a cute little device that plays music offline. I can also carry it around in public without worrying about someone stealing it. I mean, who's gonna steal a cheap MP3 player? Not a lot of people would.
I wanna get some books and manga, and also a portable CD/DVD player. There's already a DVD player on my mom's bedroom, but I wanna have my own DVD player in my room so I can use it whenever. Also it's not portable. I want a portable one specifically so I don't have to worry about plugging it on an outlet every time I feel like using it. I can just place it on my bed and use it, it's more convenient that way, y'know?
I really want a digital camera for whatever reason. I don't even take pics or record videos that often, but I wanna get into photography, but I don't even know how long that interest will last lmao. I just think cameras are so cool! They look cool and they're portable, and also taking pictures and recording videos is so fun. I probably won't get a camera until much later, but I guess I'll try taking pics with my phone in the meantime. I just really want a camera. Maybe it's my impulsive spending tendencies speaking lol.
